Caitlin Clark Declares for WNBA Draft, Reflects on Iowa Season

Hawkeye Star Joins SportsCenter to Discuss Mindset, Pressure

Iowa Hawkeyes star Caitlin Clark has declared for the WNBA Draft, forgoing her final year of eligibility.

During a pregame warmup on Saturday in Brooklyn, Clark took a break for an on-court interview with SportsCenter's Scott Van Pelt. She reflected on Iowa's season, her in-game mindset, and the pressure she faced as one of the nation's top players.

"My biggest goal coming into tonight was to continue to be myself, play aggressive," Clark said in a postgame interview. "I think I did that for the most part."

Clark also discussed the pressure she felt to perform at a high level for the Hawkeyes. "I definitely felt the pressure at times," she said. "But I also knew that I had a lot of people supporting me, and I just wanted to make them proud."
